I'm the new guy here so forgive me if I stumble a bit. I have a Wilton vise that has a swivel base and a swivel jaw. The only number I can find on it is 9A450SJ. I have had this vise for about 40 years now and it is in constant use in my shop. The vise is just as good now as it was when I screwed it onto the bench. I wish I could say that about some of the other things I have. My question boils down to how old is this thing and what is it worth. I'm pretty well over my sell by date now and starting to sell off a lot of my tools and equipment. I went into the Wilton site and entered this number in the search block and came up with a zero. I guess they just don't make these things and more. I have never seen another one like it. Any information you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thanks much

You have this question posted in the wrong section. You need to post in:

The Tools
General Tool Discussion
The Vises of Garage Journal

And you have to include photos.

Unscrew the slide all the way, pull it out and flip it over. The date will be stamped in the key on the bottom. You have a 4.5 inch double swivel. They are nice and should be 200-400 used depending on condition. This is if it is the bullet style. Pictures would help.
