Didn't find anything on Wilton History page. Have a chance to pick up a Wilton Scout vise NOS for $75. Is that a good price or just ok? Thanks, I know nothing about them. Thanks

I'd pass. I don't think they're that beefy at all.
Very light-duty vise.

think "homeowner" grade, on the same level as Montgomery Ward wrenches.

I have a scout vise. I wouldn't pay $75 for it.

I paid $5 at an auction for one in mint condition because I thought it was cute. I would hate to actually use it as a vise.

Thanks. All I had to go on was a picture. I almost bought a new Craftsman 10" band saw from a picture and when I saw it, it looked like a toy, so thanks again.
