Wilton Vice USA ?

Can anyone tell me the origin of this series of Wilton?
Cant find any info which usually means made overseas.

The older ones are USA manufactured, new ones are imports. I think late 80's, early 90's is when they began making them overseas, in China. I've handled some of the newer ones and they strike me as good vises still however.

^^^ yes, the newer ones are imports but seem pretty dang nice...

I think they do have a line or two still made in the US but they will be a lot more expensive. The quality has gone down over the years quite a lot even though they are still a descent vice.

For USA . . . we call them Vise . . . . while UK might call them Vice . . .

Those newer Wilton models are good starter vise, but older models actually better.

Similar style vise that is even better . . . .
