I'm not a vise aficionado, but I have the small one and it's pretty decent for an import. I bought the bigger one for $99 shipped. Thanks O.P.

I’m also a sucker for a deal and bought the bigger one for $99. Shipping has to cost $40 on a 65 pound vise. I’m going to replace the **** China made 6” Craftsman I have now, the Wilton will certainly look better on the bench. I purchased one of those anniversary deal 1755 vises last year too.

This vise hasn’t been under $225 on Amazon since 2013.

I want the big one to replace an older chinese big one, but am already in trouble because I have spent too much after reading similar GJ finds on incredible deals.

I wish Harbor Freight still sold the hitch mount vise plate. I would like to make it movable and use a receiver hitch mounted under the bench.

The secret is splitting your direct deposit so some of the money goes into a toy fund. You won’t notice the money is missing from the main account after a while, but the balance in the toy fund may grow fast enough to keep up with some of the GJ deals. Important financial stuff comes first though: I’m maxing out my 401K and paying an extra $500 to the mortgage principal monthly before dime one goes into toys.

I’m putting $1200 per month into my Ford Raptor fund since September, figure I might as well get used to the payment before buying one and if I end up not getting one there’ll be a nice nut in that account.

I do the same thing.... I try somewhere around 1500$ but sometimes less. I want a 2021 denali hd... the bad part is I have a 2012 Denali hd with less than 25k miles on it... wife wont sign off on a new truck.... this month I should be close to 46k in the fund.

I never trust these square bodies to clamp square, but I've never used one.

Even my Tradesman doesn't clamp THAT well near the edges....

Had I known the craftsman pro was sought after I would've bought two back in the day. Think I bought mine in 2012.

I just ordered the larger one. I've been on the hunt for a decent bullet vise that the seller doesn't think it's made of gold for a long time and I really need a vise in the garage right now so I figure this will hold me over until I find the right deal on a bullet at some point and then I should be able to recoup my money if not make a few dollars selling this one later.

I ordered a few things. They are shipping from different spots throughout the country. Multiples of the same item is being shipped from different cities. They must have been trying to clear their warehouses. My first deliveries are projected to start arriving tomorrow and the last delivery is slated for next Monday BUT they are all in transit. I'm pretty impressed so far.

I never got an email about shipment...
Call them. They sometimes put orders on hold and want you to call them for verification. But they never email you telling you to call them.

I just called them and had to verify that I was indeed real and meant to place the order. I remember having to do this last time I placed an order with them and while I appreciate their fraud department doing diligence I would like it if they moved a bit quicker about it because I was expecting it to arrive tomorrow per when it said it would when I placed the order but now it won't be here until Friday. Thats not a killer for me in this instance but who knows how much longer it may have taken had I not called them today.

I ordered both, got my 6 in today to replace the cheap floppy china Craftsman I had to buy two years ago. While its no bullet, its a upgrade. The smaller one will go on a hitch for trail use.

Mine arrived today. Its more substantial and tighter than I was expecting which is a good thing I suppose!

Not a vise BUT CPO has a pretty decent chainsaw for $200 today.

I bought a couple of these off Woot, and I use it more than my other saws. As far as I am concerned, the only thing one needs to be aware of is the stop switch is a rocker switch and it's easy to bump it with your glove sometimes.

Thanks for the offer. I decided to honor the vice and permanent mount it.

Installed it on my bench today with 3 1/2" x 1/2" stainless steel bolts, nuts and washers. I also added a stop warning at 6" out so it does not fall out unexpectedly. I used a new drill bit guide to keep the holes perpendicular. It is out far enough to accommodate long pieces on the front side of the bench and straddles the support leg evenly on each side. When not in use I swing it to the left side of the bench.

(Edit) Don't know why it switched some of my pictures sideways. Not like that in the preview.
