Went to an odd auction, and got some odd stuff. This Wilton vise box is the first one I've seen. It's pretty rough, but I didn't have to pay for it. It came filled with some tools that I bought.

Are these things collectible to anyone...or is it on its way to the dumpster?

Here is a pic of the label on the end of the box. Again, pretty rough.

Next, of all things, in the same pile of junk I got at that auction, was another smaller box with a Wilton label, from Illinois. But it was NOT a vise box...some kind of plastic fruit or something. But it was sitting inside this other box when I found it. So...was Wilton recylcing used boxes to send out parts or something? Or, is that smaller box from some other company called "Wilton"?

Okay, vise experts of Garage Journal land...I need some input, please.

I'd be interested actually.

In my box, or Rickster's vise? PM me if you like. It's not expensive. Needs lots of cleaning and TLC, though, as you can see.

I also got a pair of pipe jaws from an old vise at the same auction. Pix in another thread later tonight.

If the jaws are for the shop king I'll take those too.

Mjozefow,
Following are some pics of those vise pipe jaws we mentioned earlier...

Are these anything which might interest you? The opening slot on bottom seems to be about roughly 3/4"...a "thin" 3/4, mind you. Jaw width is roughly 1-5/8", and total height is roughly 2.5". Numbers cast into both jaws seem to be "143-43".
