Wilton vise part interchangeability resource?

Is there a resource somewhere (person, website, what-have-you) with a list of Wilton vise parts that interchange?

I have a very nice 5-inch Wilton vise missing the spindle nut (model 101043), and the vise is no good without the nut.

I have seen parts advertised as fitting both the 101043 and 500S, but no mention of the nut.

Anyone know where I can learn which parts might/do interchange between models?

Thanks -

Actually you can use the Wilton site and if you can't find it call them. I did some checking and looks like the only one that works is the 5" machinist vise, the combination jaw bullet's use a different part number. What year is your vise? Can you post pictures? Can you measure the diameter of the main screw? I have a C1 parts vise main nut that might work, it is the same diameter as my old 5" Wilton bullet.

Thanks for the help! I believe the 101043 is, in fact, a 5-inch machinist vise, so that would make sense.

I will grab a couple pictures tonight, and measure the main screw diameter.

There is no date stamp on the slide key, however, so I don't know the year. It is a Schiller Park, IL vise, though, so it's not super old -- 1960s maybe? That's what made me think there might be parts available.

Sorry, I have to make 5 posts before I can post a link to a photo of the vise.

I did measure the diameter of the spindle and it is 1 inch.

Thank you again for the help.

Oilpull, if you are sure your threads are 1" diameter then this nut will not work, I have three of them. If you measured your spindle with a set of calipers then this 7/8:3-1/2 threaded nut is to small. The flange diameter is 1.850, the smaller diameter is 1-3/8 and it is 7-1/2" long. 4036 and 7400 are cast in the side. If yours is 7/8:3-1/2 acme then this nut will work for you. No charge except for shipping. OH, the tabs need welded so the nut does not spin, I have done this before and it is pretty easy. Kevin

That is a very generous offer and I appreciate it. However, I did measure with calipers and the spindle is 1 inch dead on -- 1.000. Bummer.
