So a few weeks back I acquired a 4900 Wilton vise born in 1960 and beat up fairly good and missing parts. I've always believed most older tools are better tools so I decided to undertake a referb job on this after alot of wire wheel work sanding and some grinding ive come out with a fairly good vise I think it functions perfect and I'm happy with it. My couple questions are can anyone help me find a swivel base lock the same as what I have or close, what's it worth I don't plan to sell it but if I wanted to what could I get. Last question what do you all think how did I do. Thanks for checking out my work I'm mighty proud of it as I sit in the garage and stare at it lol. I left most of the marks and blemishes as I feel they add character.
