Wilton vise - what's it worth?

I may have an opportunity to buy this vice next week. What do you guys think it's worth? Do you know the model # (can't make it out in the pic but will be able to ask next week)? Not that I need this right now but after being a member here and reading all of your posts I've gotten hooked on buying vintage stuff and fixing it up. I'd like to add one of these to my growing pile of stuff to fix up (Remington Rand library cabinet, aluminum Navy Locker, Craftsman block grinder). After I finish my garage remodel. Someday. You guys ****.

FYI, they start at $467 for a 4" model at Graingers.

Looks like a C-0 or similar series? But something is up with the spindle nut sticking out the back - plus the retaining pin looks like it was replaced with a roll pin. Also the swivel base is missing. The bottom part looks like just the retaining ring.

So maybe not worth much? It's an on-line auction and it's far enough away that I only want to make one trip, so I can't preview it. Sounds like even if I could get it for cheap it's probably not worth the risk or the drive.

I would guess C0 too... Yeah something is up with the mainscrew nut part sticking out the back. Without seeing more pictures it's really a **** shoot... You don't know if the casting is f-ed on the other side or what.

I'm sure its worth something, maybe throw a bid of $30....

Here I was thinking with all the issues this thing has I could pick it up for cheap. $165? Seems crazy to me. I'll keep up the search for an unrestored one in whole condition but they seem to be rare around here. The ones that do pop up are already refinished with asking prices in the $400-$500 range.

A used C0 in very good condition - yeah 165. That? Not so much.
