Wilton Vise

Hi, I'm new to this forum so here goes
I have a Wilton Vise model C2 mfg date 6/30/60
That is in good condition. I see information on C3 model but not the C2.
Does anyone know anything about this model such as usage, value, rarity etc.?
Any info is appreciated.

Orange, I'd suggest taking a look through the Vise thread over in General Tool Discussion. They've definitely discussed it there, so search through that thread and I can almost guarantee you'll find info.

Rare? No, not at all. They still make them in fact, for the tune of about $1400 if im not mistaken. I've got one at home here that i need to restore. Picked it up for $50, I almost felt bad.

One interesting tid bit if you take yours apart, the dynamic jaw unscrews from the "tube" part of it. There is a pin behind the retainer plate that splits the two pieces on the threads and indexes the jaw properly.

Stout vises. I certainly can't see myself needing anything bigger.
