Hi yall, for $40 does anyone think this vise is worth it? Its a Wilton thats in ok condition, and eventually I would want to restore it if I did purchase it. I know the Bullet vise’s are really good and everyone wants one but Im not sure about there other vises. Also unsure if this particular one is a USA made one because if its not its a no for me. It's an older vise, US made. For 40, just an ok price. I'd be concerned it's bent or misaligned as the photo shows it might be sagging . If it lines up good, no slop (or damage) in the main nut, jaws aren't damaged, and no cracks in base, you might be ok. I mean, no one is going to go wrong for 40 if it works good.

The base and jaws might be worth it as parts.
The slide is obviously bent, and not easily repairable.
The current Milwaukee Morgan 5” version of that vise sells for $215
And an import version of the Wilton for around $125
