Hello Folks,
Been on the search for quite a while now for a decent vise and about had a stroke when I seen how much a quality American made vise cost these days.
Lucked out today and ended up getting a vintage Wilton from a little old widow who sells stuffed animals and the like on Ebay.
The vise is a Wilton 645 in excellent condition, IMO.
This thing had to be a garage or shop nick nac.
Almost absolutely no signs of wear considering the time era it came from.
Which brings me to the purpose of this thread.
I searched and couldn't any documentation telling the years, From - To, which these particular vises were made.
If I were to take a wild guess I'd say this particular vise is from the 60's to early 70's era based on the style of the embossed lettering and design.
Can anybody verify what year this thing is truly from?
Sorry about the tiny pic, it's all that's available until delivery.
Thanks
