Kevin is an absolute perfectionist, and it shows! I've pestered him on the phone and by e-mail many times and it's taught me a lot more than he probably realizes.
He once told me he had sets of jaws on the shelf from when he was trying different line spacings to see what was best. Since they were all slightly different he just set them aside and didn't do anything with them. If they don't look just like the picture on his website, he won't sell them! I think most companies would just sell them and put it under the "normal variations" sort of BS we've all seen and heard countless times.
Regardless, if you want great jaws that will last a lifetime, Kevin is your guy!
