Winch for Tires - Recommended Strap?

I recently installed a Harbor Freight winch on the ceiling of my garage (10’ ceiling) to life tires onto a tire rack for spare set storage. Have been using a HF axle strap to get around the tire and attach the d-rings to the winch hook, but my new set of wheels is too wide for this and also not sure if this type of strap is even the right type for vertical lifting. Does anyone have a recommendation for the right kind of strap to winch a tire approximately 7’ vertically off the ground?

How about using a 2" through the wheel?

Use a round sling. It is a loop of webbing, and it will work perfectly for that application.

Any cheap 1" lift sling from Amazon. Very overkill, but they are nice to have around too
