winch help sorta

ok i got a winch gave to me with mount plate just like the one in the link http://www.harborfreight.com/power-in-power-out-3000-lb-capacity-12-volt-electric-winch-96455.html but the plate is missing the bolts , a buddy suggested i just go buy a new one then take out the bolts and return but i don't feel right doing that any idea on sourcing the bolts on the mount plate

Don't see anything special about these bolts. Find grade 8 bolts put em in, done. If they're metric, go to a specialty fastener place, call ahead save time. No problem really.

they are like pegs not realy bolts round heads then a shaft then it shrinks down for the threaded part

Fastenal should have those. Another name for them are "shoulder bolts".

http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=2213&pictureid=31313 no hex the threaded part is smaller then the shaft that sits under the head so it clamps the palte and leaves it sitting up . i got every thing but the bolts when i got the winch gave to me

its made by haul master is that an exclusive to Harbor freight brand cuase i cant find a web site for them if i could i would just order the replacements from them . yes i realize what my friend was saying he also is not alowed to borrow money or tools either

Regular bolts with a spacer maybe? Hard to tell the purpose of the shoulder bolts from the picture. Course I'm looking at a tiny phone screen.
