That angle wouldnt be steep enough for a wine bottle

Not sure if you understand the concept - this holds the bottle on the table. You don't strap it to your chest as a hands-free drinking buddy. Otherwise , agreed , the opening needs to be waa-aa-aay lower than the base, yeh a LOT steeper :lol:

OP - nice job and how on earth did you think of that ? Simple , concise, neat. Just learning to weld - might steal your idea if you don't mind ?

For true storage of wine, the bottle has to be at an angle the wine contacts the cork, to keep it moist. I didnt know if that was the intention or not. It is a cool design and know a few people who would like one.
