Anyone have experience with these? I know it is old, I got it out of my grandfather's barn. It probably last ran in the late 90's. I put gas in and it fired right up. Quick adjustment to run at 60 hertz and it. Is 120/240 on the dot. The 240 plug is not one I have seen before.

It is powered by a Honda GX240 8hp motor.

I also replaced the mini breakers, they were beat up. I plan to use it for my 3/4 hp well pump and fridge during power outages.

it says 120/240 but the receptacle is straight 240. you would have to open it up and rewire it for 120 v

There is another receptacle that is 120, I just took a photo of the 240 because I hadn't seen one like that before. Should have taken a picture of the whole end of the generator. There are also two 15 amp mini breakers, one for each plug.

great ! the honda engine is a great plus. some had a switch in the crankcase to kill the ignition with low oil. They at one time were a problem with high hour engines.

It does have the low oil shutoff, there is an extra sensor taped to the frame. I don't think it has high hours, my grandfather used a pto driven generator for most things. He had an RV for less than a year, guessing that is where it came from.

I don't think anyone answered it, but NEMA 6-15. Plugs can be gotten at HD, Lowes, and at Belletetes.
