I'm in Ohio, It does what it wants...
This year, this is what we have so far. 6-8" with 12-14" drifts. Can be a LOT worse. Would like see at least couple more like this one, just for the ground water. Can't imagine not seeing this stuff. Have to say though, If we get snow every year, why can't we DRIVE in it?? :willy_nil
Here's some snow scene shots of the "Sheep Shed Shop" Enjoy! We Did! ;)

I just looked back on my post from december 2012 in this thread when it had just been raining and raining, well this winter if anything has been even worse, we've had maybe 3 frosts but just interminable rain and storms, the winds have just been crazy this winter. January was the wettest in the UK since records began around a century ago and theres no sign of any let-up. Large areas of the UK are under water, some villages in the Somerset levels ahve now been cut off by floods for a month with villages back to being islands as there were before the marshes were drained in mediaeval times. My garage is shall we say a bit damp inside, even with a dehumidifier running 24/7. The roads are underwater in places around us where fields are flooding out onto them. Its just a ****** mess. No frost, no snow, just developing webbed feet, today the rain has again been coming sideways, I have a window thats leaking in the living room (waiting on new windows all round) the lawn just has water running out of it onto my yard like a river. the kids are driving me nuts because its just to wet, windy and cold for them to go and play outside often enough to run off steam and I'm struggling to get anything done out of the house.

So pretty, so cold, such a pain to get around in. I used to shovel snow to get to the garage and shovel the drive to get to work. Then shovel more snow to get into work. Then at 5 PM, clean off the truck to drive home, shovel the walk and driveway to get back into the garage and go inside to try and warm up enough overnight to do it again the next day. Sometimes this would go on for weeks. Why I moved to Arizona in 1985. I miss seeing it and playing in it, but I don't miss living in it.

Rinker1 - Mr Heater 80K BTU propane w/ wifi enabled thermostat. It's really fun turning the heat on before I leave work or while sitting on the couch on a Saturday morning!

Updated pic: from normal to a bit above normal after the 10 more inches the other night. I'm really growing weary of winter. 35 inches nominal on the ground, now.
