Hi all - haven't posted at all, but been reading a lot. I bought a place in NJ last year with a nice sized garage - like 25 ft ceilings (one high lift door, one standard that will be made high-lift next year). During the summer, I sold an old Trans Am and bought an '02 - which meant I didn't have to spend the winter on a car restoration task - so I turned to the garage restoration.
Dude that owned the house before me was a real hack - so after a lot of "de-Doug-ing" I spent some hours out in the garage. Finished the clean up and the paint and just ordered the color coordinated racedeck (awesome service, awesome-er GJ discount). Anyway, a few shots of where I'm at pre-racedeck - I'll update after. Just wanted to say thanks for all the knowledge imparted on the site and thanks to all willing to share ideas and vision - even though you have no idea who I am. Thanks people for keeping the garage sacred.
