Not much snow left outside the house as I had to clear the backyard to start building the car garage. We had a unusual cold December, with temperatures down to -22 degrees celcius. Now it's just a few degrees below freezing, so it's perfect for building the garage. We are expecting 30-40 centimeters of snow this week though..

Aligning the garage walls in the nice warm winter weather:)

Hello 344chief: Sounds like you folks are having a very cold winter. Not sure that "a few degrees below freezing is perfect garage building weather" but I guess it's just a matter of what you're used to. Good luck with the upcoming snow!

This was from the first storm we had last year. 28" of snow over night. The car thats buried under the drift is the Monte SS that I used to own. It took a lot of blowing to clear the driveway.

I have to put on my jacket when I read GJ. Just looking at all that snow makes me cold. We see MAYBE one day of snow a year where I'm at and even then it's only an inch or so.

The barn is still being built - the weather has turned to wet and cold for me to get back and cut in the top of the walls. As soon as it dries up - that is on my to-do list :bounce:

Actually, now we are back to the a "normal" winter after some more days with snow, with the temparatures alternating between just above and below freezing. It even rained on Sunday and yesterday. Makes the roads very slippery and dangerous..

My porsche 911 has disappeared...:

The snow and rain have only made slight impact on the garage building process, although my clothes are all wet after working outside from dinner until almost midnight .. after working 9-10 hours at my paid daytime job off course:)

Need to constantly clear the "work" area from snow:

Big dump last weekend with more forcast starting tomorrow. And technically we're only three weeks into winter. But I have my tickets to Cancun to keep me warm.
