Winterizing the Barn Bathroom

It seems the cold weather is coming down this way later this week (temps in the teens) I am going to turn my water off inside my barn/bathroom. Should I take my urinal flush valve a part and try to get most of the water out? or just hit the flush button a couple of times? Only asking because I had a heck of a time getting the urinal flush valve to work originally!! really not sure how fragile these are?

Shut off the water flush as many time as you can, buy a gallon or 2 of RV antifreeze and dump some in the tank and in the trap/bowl .. We do this to camps in Maine all the time

I usually turn the water off to the barn out at the street and blow it out. This is my first year with a bathroom, I wasn't sure if I had to get "All" of the water out of the urinal flush valve, didn't want to damage it, had a hard time getting it to work right. I have some pool antifreeze that I am going to put in the toilet bowl.
