I need some wire to rewire some lawn tractors. I am looking for a good assortment of gauges and colors. I know HF sells an assortment, but it is not well reviewed. Anybody have a source?

You're best bet is to use "automotive primary wire", from a quality manufacturer.
The lower grade imported wire assortments are not very resistant to UV, heat, oils, fuels, and oxides that harden and crack the insulation.

I've bought a lot from http://www.wiringproducts.com/ and they have decent prices but their assortment is pretty good!
Buy more than you need, do a good job, and save the rest. There are different types, GPW, GPT, cross linked, etc.

I know alot of people who use "Marine" wire. Apparently the wire insulation is much better and its relatively easy to get locally...
