Wire crimpers

I've tried the search function but there's too many posts to look through so thought I'd just ask. I'm in need of a decent set of crimpers for work. I don't do a lot of wiring so bought a couple of cheap eBay(I'm in the UK) crimpers but they're ****. Well the crimper I have for the insulated terminals(below) are fine.

I need a good set for this style of terminal.

Any recommendations?

A lot of the crimps in your second picture require specific dies/tools from the manufactuer (amp, molex, jts). They often look similar, but are not. Unfortunately, these crimpers are quite expensive. I've gotten by with personal stuff with a pair of pliers and sometimes solder, but this is not the correct solution in a production/professional environment.

If someone knows who makes the snap on crimper, u would go with that brand. I have the SO and love it.

The only problem I'm having with this is that those are not crimp connectors. Those look like factory connectors to me, you should be solder those.

The pics were just for an example. I work in a Mercedes commercial dealer and every so often get a job where the pins are corroded or the plug connector damaged and need replacing. I've got by so far borrowing crimpers from one of the guys but need my own set. The ones I borrow are a Mac tool but we don't have a dealer nearby and online the ones I borrow are discontinued.

I've got the Irwin stripper and crimper tool, the Irwin ergo grip multi tool, Snap-on PWC-3 or 8 (dunno because it's wearing off of the handle) crimper and stripper tool and a chrome molybdenum ratcheting crimper but don't know the make and they all work perfect. The Snap-on 1's are discontinued.

the only way to go is buy a good ratchet set with replaceable dies
insulated are pretty much standard as pink, blue, yellow, but the moltex, amp, packard ones will need to be matched

I am curious about this as well. The terminology should be uninsulated spade terminals with strain relief.

+1 for Sargent, can't recall the model number off hand of the one I bought.
