Wire from main to sub panel

I bought 250’ of Ethernet cable. I’ll put it in conduit. All I want is Wi-Fi so I can listen to music, and search the net on my phone. I doubt I’ll ever put a TV or a PC in the shop.

The advantage @Innovate1 is referring to for fiber is not bandwidth, but lightning isolation. Living in thunderstorm country, I don't put copper ethernet in the ground anymore.

If your Ethernet cable is going in underground conduit you need flooded (waterproof) cable. Regular Cat5 or 6 is not rated for wet environments.
