Wire gauge for light circuit vs circuit length

Hi folks: Getting ready to lay out a few lighting circuits. 96 watt dimmable LED lights (I can provide more info if needed). In one bay, there will be three lights. A roughly 40 foot straight run from the subpanel along the wall with three 10 foot legs (one to each light). I was assuming I would use 14 gauge wire (THHN in conduit, surface mount), but then began to wonder about the distance and whether I should go with 12 gauge instead. I do not anticipate running any outlets, etc off this circuit. In the adjacent larger bay, there will be a similar set up with 5 lights divided into two or three circuits. Max run length there would be about the same (no overhead door, hence more lights). Thanks for any insights, suggestions or recommendations. Best, Daniel

One other consideration for #14 vs #12 is if you fill that 'home run' conduit with more circuits - then you have to de-rate.
