Is there a tool to uses to calculate wire run lengths to scale?

I am doing a DIY solar install and bought PV wire, crimper terminal blocks etc. With a few hours effort i can likely pre-calculate the wire lengths needed (36 wires) .

Goal is i don't have panel installer labor waiting on me.

How do you pros do it? there must be some sketch tool?

Perhaps an old school scale?

Length and width of the panels is consistent. Location of the connection point is consistent. And after that … get a scale like malibu101 said.

ok i get it. Graph paper and a ruler would get me my calcs. I was hoping for a scaled sketch tool to draw direct lines or routing and have it give me a manifest of the wire runs lengths.
