I have 2 circuits left to run in building. Air compressor and twin post. Was thinking of using 10-3 on 30 amp breakers for both. They are both about 50 ft from panel. Haven't really decided on lift or comp. I know some lifts only require 20 amp circuit but others 30. The comp will either be 3.5 or 5 hp 60 gal vertical.

I would run 8-2 Romex for the air compressor, that wire size can handle a true 5HP compressor.

I'd run 10-2 for your lift if you want to be safe, although I've never ran anything bigger than #12 for the two lifts I've wired so far. But, I haven't seen them all, so there may be a lift out there that needs #10.

If not within sight of and further than 50' u will need a disconnect on the compressor.

As Aceman said 8/2 for compressor.

And 5HP will need to be hardwired.

Yes, I don't know of any of the lifts that need better than a 12. Any voltage they need a dedicated circuit. I finally got around to finishing mine. It was a 10 cable hanging in the ceiling hooked to a piece of 12 with a flying splice for years. It didn't stand out bad but by then worked out any details as to what was what and when I pulled the wire thru to this station did it all in a bundle. I had some 10 so its the motor circuit at the Jbox with a 12 tapped on for the hoist and continue to a welding recept for a mig, both machine utilize the same over current. The golf cart and the table are mixed up here. Pic 4 though is pretty much how it sits today and one cart in pic 1 has been removed. It was a catcher for stuff we really didn't use. One less piece I need in the way. One less I need to clean off when done and one less to lay pieces on to get mixed up.
I don't add much anymore but have been stripping out, its super easy to collect or drop stuff that clings on despite using it rarely or done with it long ago.
The hoist is a bit of a power/air station for this area and assists 3 work bays. Actually 4.
