When I worked for a VW/Audi dealer, VW automatically billed us for and shipped us these as a mandatory specialty tool. I just took 'em home when the owners sold out and shut the doors. Made by a company called Wezag. Stamped with "Made in W Germany" inside the jaws.

I'll second that. I have a few of these in several wire gauge ranges and they're excellent. I've tried all sorts of other wire stripper types and always come back to these. Mine are all over 30 years old and are still going strong.

I never use the combo type ( except the snap on pwc7). they dont get the quality of crimp I like.
