Not surprising. I typically use dedicated tools for each task. I get it that in some cases you need to save weight and space in a mobile bag and use a combo tool, but otherwise there are better options.

I've never used any of the strippers in the video but have used a different style of Klein's in the past with no issues. I try to stick with the tried and true old school cheap Ideal T-strippers, getting about a year out of a pair before they won't cut stranded after making thousands of cuts in everything from #10 solid (10/2 and 10/3 Romex) all the way down to #16 stranded fixture wire. I've also had a pair of Knipex shear style cutters that were destroyed trying to cut either a #4 or #6 solid ground wire in the first week I had them.
