Im using the cheap HF angle grinders with a HF wire wheel. With a cutoff wheel there isnt any vibration. Is it the HF wire wheel causing the vibration, or would any wire wheel cause the vibration. My hands go numb after a few mins of use. Just want to make sure I dont go wasting money on a quality wire wheel thats going to make my hands numb just the same.

The HF grinder has a ton of vibration already. The HF wire wheel is prob out of balance. I refuse to buy china wire wheels for any machine.

I run good Makitas and Metabos with Weiler USA wire wheels. You'll love yourself with a nice setup.

EDIT: most cheap wheels are out of balance. Try a good one. If nothing else it WILL last longer, so no money lost in long run

Please buy a quality wire wheel ASAP because the cheap ones will ruin the bearings of your grinder and finally the gear drive !

Also smaller wire wheels have less vibration. Try a 4" or 4,5" instead of a 5".

Make sure you're not exceeding the speed rating of the wire wheel. The speed should be stamped right on the flange of the wire wheel. Look up the max speed of the grinder. Make sure it's less than the speed rating of the wire wheel.
