I was in a pinch and I needed a new wire wheel for my 8” bench grinder. I have a couple 6 “ stainless wire wheels for my angle grinder but since I retired I don’t really have a need for more than one. I decided to drill the nut out of one and use it on my bench grinder. I figured it would probably be too course but the stainless wires are softer than the carbon steel ones. It actually worked really well.
