I have used the wired chassis ear with much success. But I noticed lately a wireless version has come out. Has anyone used it? How does it compared to corded version?

I have sold a couple of the wireless ones. They seem to work pretty good.

i have that wireless steelman set. works great. solved many NVH issues with it. not having wires makes it so easy and fast to use. ive had it for quite some time now also going on 5 years i think.

good to know, I wasn't sure how good the channel isolation would be with wireless. What kind of batteries do the mics take? is the battery info on the ebay listing correct?

yeah, it takes a bunch of batteries but depending on how much your going to use it they may last a long time, ive only replaced batteries once and i use the set at least once a week.

They have been around for over 10 years. Snap-On offers 2 additional microphones that are channel 5 and 6. I got mine barely used for $50. It is great when working on those little noises in the combine, as it is not possible to run wired mics.

i got mine off the so truck and i love it, i use it all the time to diagnose wheel bearings,rear problems,front end noises ,the list goes on and on.really great tool to have around.

Never heard of this tool. How effective is it in diagnosing fuel injection issues, vs. other methods?

I got mine of the MAC truck when it was on sale. It comes with 4 sensors and you can add another 2 for a total of 6. BTW Snap on and Mac just rebrand them they are actually made by steelman products.
