I apologize for the maybe naive post but could you please suggest a best solution for outdoor motion light fixture wiring on each corner of the house.

The current soffit lights on the front porch has on/off switch and not a permanent to wire from them. Also, I have garage lights on on/off switch. What would be a practical wiring to each outside corner of the house. I have outdoor outlets but they are in the middle of the outside wall. Thank you in advance!

p,
I have been looking at some of the new Solar Powered LED spots. With LEDs I bet they will run for quite a while even during the winter months when there is not as much sunlight to charge the batteries. They would eliminate the need for any wiring at all.

Just something to think about.

Im on about year 5 on my harbor freight solar spot light. The the more expensive one with the aimable motiton detector. Its on my garage aiming down the side of it towards my man door. Plenty bright.

If you can't get wiring to the fixture the solar powered ones are pretty decent. The nicer ones actually have a solar panel that plugs into the light and can be mounted away from the fixture to get proper exposure. I've also got a battery powered one that's supposed to last a year on a set of batteries. I figure if it does it only costs me 5 bucks a year in batteries. It's around 500 lumens I believe.
