Wiring for plugs?

Im just wondering when you can tighten the clamp in an outlet box that clamps on the wire coming into the box,can it be to tight,I just used my cordless drill to tighten them down,but now im wondering if its to tight will it cause problems?

I would not tighten it too much. Just enough to keep to from moving all about. It's just meant to secure the wire and keep it from moving in/out the box.

Yes,if too tight it will trip the breaker even if the insulation is not pierced.Light contact is all that is necessary.

I went back and checked them all the insulation was not cut and there was only 2 that seemed to tight so I loosened them off!
