I have a new construction pole barn and have begun wiring.
The Panel is in one corner, and I've run wiring to the furthest wall.
I'm now doing the back wall which leads to my question.
I intend to install a pellet stove this fall. In order for me to add outlets along the portion of the wall that is past the stove, i need to eother run wiring through the section of wall that will contain the pass through for the flue pipe or I will need to run them overhead, presumably through the trusses.
My question is, if I use a standard flue arrangement for a pellet stove with a thimble pass through. Can I place wiring in the same wall cavity? and if so har far from the flue pipe does it need to be?
Is there a section in the code that addresses this situation?
The attached sketch sort of shows the layout. The panel and stove are marked. The path I would normally run the wiring is shown as the red line, ending past the stove.
Thanks
