Im just starting to wire my pole barn addition and Im running all the wires up and through the first roof truss right where the 2x4 on the bottom meets the 2x4 running up to the peek right in that corner, does it matter that all the wires are running through the truss like this and does it matter if all the wires are all together at this one point?

Thanks Mike

Catch22 I am guessing your running Romex and no it wont hurt anything for them all to be running together . Alot of newer homes actually run almost all the wires for the house through a couple large conduits into the breaker panel and it doesnt seem to hurt anything.

As long as you are NOT drilling the truss chords or rafters you are ok.Never drill through truss components, also a good idea to avoid drilling through LVL's if possible. When running cable in the "attic" space perpendicular to the trusses, keep them close to the walls,if you have more than 3 feet above the cables, you need to place boards alongside for protection.
