Wiring to air handler/heater

I'm installing a central heat and air in my detached shop. This is a heat pump unit, the indoor air handler has electric heat strips added to it. The heat kit has a 60 amp breaker inside the cabinet. I assume I need to run more than 60 amps for this air handler, if so how much?

Need to know the MCA- min circuit amps and MOCP- max overcurrent protection

Size the wire by the MCA.
Size the breaker (or fuse) by the MOCP.

These 2 figures should be listed on the nameplate.

Thanks. Issue is there are two plates, one for the air handler which is basically just the fan, and the add on heat kit.
The air handler plate says min circuit ampacity 2.2 amp, with minimum overload protection 15 amp.
The heat kit is 9.6kw@240v, the plate lists 40amps, 56 MCA, and 60 MOP.

Do I need to go to a 70amp breaker and #6 thhn?

60 amp breaker and #6 wire. The 60 amp breaker in the unit sees both the heat and blower loads.

They already figured it all in by putting a 60 amp breaker in it

That makes sense. Just making sure. What size ground do I need to pull with it?

#10 ground

The exterior condensor unit will have a nameplate as well. Same sizing method- MCA and MOCP
