Hello from Indiana. We have this unfinished barn in our backyard and I think I have found a wonderful site that can help me finish out this building properly.
We plan to park our motorhome in one side and eventually put an apartment on the remaining part. We also are planning on a loft to wrap around one side over the apartment and one end of the building.
It is 40x 60 and I am very open to suggestions on the flooring,electric,plumbing, etc.
At this time I plan on pouring concrete 6 in think on RV side and 4 in on remaining.I would like a nice finish on the floor.
Lights----I would love a lot of light!
We do live on a septic which has room to add the additional bathroom in the barn.Im sure we will need a grinder and pump we need to go up hill a little to a pit about 100 ft away from the barn.
I will most likely have Duke Energy run a separate line to the garage so I can put in a 50 amp service for the RV.
I just got home from Florida and this thing is huge!! But it sure looks like a lot of work ahead of me to get it useable and I want to do it right!
