Only going a few blocks but I've got a serious pucker factor. Lot money and sweat in this thing.

Those are extremely top heavy, try to get some strong arms/backs to help you when you get ready to unload it. One person has a lot of trouble handling one of those even on an appliance dolly with it strapped down. It'w worth a 6 pack to make sure it does not get away from you. I have never done dropped one but have seen several in Home Depots back room that had been dropped.

Although you probably got it home by now ( one would hope so anyway). When I did mine it was loaded with a forklift, and once I got it home I disassembled it to unload it. I took the motor and compressor unit off, then moved the tank where I wanted it and put it back together.. I drove 3 hours one way to get mine as a similar local unit was $700 more. ( I have a company truck so fuel is not an issue)

Hey guys. Sorry for the late reply. Yes, got her home safe and sound. I used a cherry picker and a well placed strap under the motor pump plate. Fairly easy if you set up the strap to balance the load while another person keeps it from swinging while you roll the cherry picker
