I found these vise grips last weekend at the flea and the "bullet" adjuster prompted me to pick them up for $1. I found an advertisement from Popular Science in November of 1946 identifying the WM Truman Tool Co. as the maker / vendor but NOTHING else on the company. I did find a law suit between this company and a drug store in 1961. The tool seems to work fantastic. I was not able to find a patent for the tool either. Anyone know anything?

Very interesting I did see one some time back and I bet the guy still has it for sale, as soon as I can I will start looking for information for you.

Although I have found a couple dozen new names to add to "the list" (which I need to arrange alphabetically before I forward it to you), I have not encountered "Truman" thus far.
