I need some 3/8" extensions for my M12 Fuel 3/8" impact. Are wobble extensions worth the extra cost ?

I have the Sunex 3/8 & 1/2 sets and they hold up decent. I use them about as much as normal extensions.

I love using them, but I don't have universal sockets. If I did, I don't know if I'd use the wobbles as much. Maybe, I don't know though. They're cheap enough, I'd pick some up for a rainy day. I like Sunex.

IMO, if I need a wobble, it's great. If I don't, it's annoying.

I like my universals better anyway.

I wouldn't want to live without them.

They work so much better then a universal does. There's a fair amount of energy lost with a universal it's a eye opener.

I have straights, wobbles, and universal sockets in impact form...I don't think I use any one of them more than the others, just depends on my access...pick whichever one gives me the least angle and least amount of extensions for the most part.

Although when doing like 10-12mm under hood fasteners, I often just throw a long 3/8" wobble and a deep socket on the cordless impact and go to town...plenty of torque for such small bolts and can just keep moving quickly.

You need both.

Wobbles aren't as strong, so you'll normally use the straight ones. But when you need a wobble, you really need one -- there are lots of situations where wobbles really save the day.

I have them and really don't like them... prefer the straight ones. I just feel like I have a better bite/grip on the bolt/nut with the straight ones.
