Evening, apologies if this is in the incorrect place I'm new to the forum.

I'm looking for a set of Wobble sockets, 1/2 ideally, would consider 3/8 also

In the UK we're sadly limited compared to what you chaps and chapess's have across the way!

I've seen Britool hallmark (seems cheap rebounded and Taiwanese dung)

Astro Pneumatic? Not heard of them and can't find much on quality

We have U.S pro, which is cheap nasty dung

And of course snap on which never do a big set and are always missing some so you have to buy other sets, and they're mega money, for something I currently aren't sure if I shall use.

Any reccomendstions of any I may of missed that are UK avaliable or even opinions of ones people have used that I've mentioned above.

Many thanks.

Is sunex available to you? Very good quality for the price point.
Sadly not, there's a few items on amazon but all heavily priced and it seems to be single items as opposed to sets! I have seen the name mentioned a lot though sadly!

Grey pneumatic, Sunex, or any of theirTaiwan clones are going to be your best bet. Avoid Chinese made ones.

Astros are reasonably priced over here but they have a lot of failures according to my local seller, lots of warranties he said.

Edit: Ares looks to be an Astro clone. Capri looks available in UK. Lots of people like their other tools so I’d be willing to try them in a size or two to see how they hold up.

Also forgot to ask professional or hobby use?

You guys over there have it rough , high taxes , tariffs , added fees and limited options for almost anything
Curious what a snap on set costs there .....

Astro over and over again. I've been using my 1/2" and 3/8" universal impacts daily working on class 5-8 trucks with no issues. I have their 1/4" chrome wobbles, they're good, but I put them away just because I don't like chrome wobbles. I use Sunex 1/4" universal impacts (Which I'd like to replace with Matcos or hope that Astro will come out with some 1/4" universal impacts).

ASTRO is the answer but if you can't get them you can't get them. Which is a shame as the whole ASTRO line is about as much bang for the buck as you can possibly get for the prices they charge.

Over in the UK I see that MAC is very popular for impact universal joints.
In the 12 years or so I've been in the trade I've had one mac dealer at a garage I was at for a year and he only come once a month. Shame as they do some lovely looking gear, but warranty would be a pain in the rear!

There's a guy in the UK named Kevin Albert Williams. He has a mobile clutch service business and a YouTube Channel. He uses that MAC impact swivel joint everyday. It has made him lots of money. If it broke and he had to throw it away, I don't think he'd mind buying another one. He probably has several anyway.
