Gentlemen,
Does any one know where I can get a "ball park" value of a double pedestal Wolf Jahn & Co. watch maker lathe made in Frankfurt Germany? Thanks!

I can't nail the price directly, but they seem to worth quite a bit when I've seen auctions on ebay and the like. It depends on condition and what all is included, but they seem to be rather desirable.

The bare lathe with motor and a taper socket tailstock is probably $500.00 to $600.00. A collet holding tailstock will add $50.00 to $100.00. Collets go for about $6.00 each. Slides are worth $300.00 for a double and $400.00 for a triple.

This is an educated guess estimate.

Gentlemen,
Excellent suggestion! The compound cross slide is well made but not original.2 tool rests,2 jacobs chucks, 18 collets, 2 stepped face plates, 2 holder face plates, tail stock friction slides. The plating is worn but the head stock has no slack
