Wolfcraft information

Anyone here have or had one of these? I found this in a junk pile. Nothing wrong except needed rust cleanup. I also have the motor spindle (no brand name) for it. The collets are a bit odd. From what I could find, Kress nuts and collets fit it. Made in Germany.

is that for a dremel? I picked up something similar that turns a dremel into a drill prese but no slide table. that one looks like maybe for jewelry?

From what little I have found about it, it was designed more for woodwork. I don't have a picture of the motor, but it is quite a bit larger than a dremel. It had about a 1/4" collet in it when I found it. I found a 3/8" collet on ebay that fit it.

That is a unique piece. I found all kinds of Wolfcraft drill guides and drill press adapters but not that one. I see the clamp for the motor is a smooth pocket with a shoulder at the bottom. The Demels mount by the rather uncommon 3/4-12 thread on the nose. I am amazed you found a collet for the motor. I couldn't find the press or the motor.

It took months to find a collet. It looked similar to an ER style but not the same. Finally found one on ebay just by chance. Seller didn't know what it fit. I went pot-luck and bought it. I couldn't believe it actually fit when I got it. So now I think I have the last two in the world that fit.
