Just completed my third garage floor coating but wanted to post about the great experience working with the product and Bert from Alpha Garage.
I have used kits from other vendors but this one stands out and in my opinion on top.
All of my coatings have gone on new garage builds. slabs were 6 inches thick, 5000psi, wire mesh with rebar border, heavy mil vapor barrier, and 2 inches of rigid insulation.
I still had bubbling, yellowing, and curing inconsistencies with previous coatings.
Wolverine coating has a certain weight and thickness to it.
Bert was communicative 7 days a week, offered great info, and checked in frequently.
The first coating with Bondtite was thick stuff and bonded well. I did experience bubbling and the coat did look like a nightmare but Bert assured all was good. I sanded the bubbles and wiped the entire floor with denatured alcohol and moved on to prep for the next quote.
The second coat applied easier now that the floor drank plenty of primer coat. I had the misses help so that I focus on throwing flakes lightly.
The coat came out great and now it was time for the clear coat.
The clear coat was only tough because its tricky to see. I went overboard and overlapped my lines like nuts. I agitated the spheretex traction additive in the coat by kicking the tray lightly and soaked the nap by rolling backwards on the ridges of the paint tray. My wife assisted with side rolling and we got thru it.
Here are some pics.
