I will finally have a shed on August 6th, it's only more than a year in the works.

I'd like to put something on the floor. I know there are tons of options for concrete but what is there for wood that doesn't cost a ton of money?

Thanks

It depends on what you are planning to use the shed for. Plywood is a good durable floor for garden tools and equipment, but won't hold up to spilled oil from engine rebuilds. I've seen sheet vinyl and VCT used in sheds. Or Epoxy as Scottty noted above.

How big is the shed?

I like the epoxy route, didn't know it was available for wood floors.

The shed will be used more often than a normal shed. I will have a workbench in there and such. I don't plan on building any engines in there and if I do I'd be sure to cover the floor.

It's a 12x16 shed.

What about something like porch and floor paint? How would that hold up on a plywood floor? I have to figure out what I want to put on my second story workshop floor in the garage. I was thinking about using this stuff since the second story doesn't have hot tire pickup issues and re-coating it evern 5 to 10 years wouldn't really be a problem.
