Wood handled screwdriver with very wide flat head tip

I'm trying figure out who made this. I've never seen a tip this wide on a stubby screwdriver.

The overall length is 7.5 inches and the tip is 5/8" wide.

The only marking I can read is "Made In U.S.A." on the ferrule.

Any ideas?
