Wood looking ceiling planks-metal

I saw an example of a metal ceiling plank system that looked pretty good. Looked like real wood tongue and groove. Esp from a distance.

I realize that actual wood is an option. And the prices are moderating. But I wanted to see if anyone had any experience with this. Tempting due to the stability and fire rating.

I’m a little surprised that there is not a simple metal profile that can be run off a coil that would be (much) cheaper.

I’m also a little concerned about the noise. Does anyone have experience with a metal ceiling and the acoustics?

Thanks

That price is actually cheap. We install them commercially and they are usually $10/SF and more to buy, includes a support system that is installed before the planks by the time I add labor and overhead they are paying over $25/SF. IF you are looking for interior there is a perforated version that will help with acoustics and it has a "fleece" backing that helps with CAC and NRC (absorption and reflective) properties. Exterior are non perforated or perforated without any backing. No easily accusable above, and the learning curve on stall would be pretty big.
