I think I have the same Snap-on wire strippers that d42jeep shows above.
These were purchased in the late 70’s I think

apparently there were earlier and later patents as well... you'll have to chase that down at datamp.org -
start with the patent number on YOUR unit (2313793) and it should lead to the other patents

I found this pair marked General Cement Mfg. Co. at a NV estate sale yesterday. It even has the usually missing depth gauge. It seems to be in good working condition IMG_3344.jpegIMG_3350.jpeg
