Hi everyone. I used to have a brick chimney beside my house and when I dug out my foundation to replace the drain tile it collapsed. I am now in the process of building a chimney chase. The area where the flue pipe exits the basement is through the concrete foundation wall. What is the correct way to pass the flue pipe through the wall?
The old setup from the pipe to the foundation was as follows.
1. single wall pipe
2. insulation
3. thicker gauge metal pipe to hold the insulation around the single wall pipe
4. foundation
Thanks in advance.
