I am looking at wood stove chimney kits and noticed there are a few different ones. Right now I am comparing two Duravent kits.

6DP-KBSC for $207

6DP-KMFG for $299

The 6DP-KMFG kit is $90 more but to me it seems like a good deal because it includes 4ft of the triple wall galvanized chimney pipe.

Would it be okay to use the 6DP-KMFG kit in a shop?

The second kit will work just fine, I only need (1) 36" piece of triple wall S/S for my shop install, don't forget the pipe flashing for the roof, I used the one with the malleable edge.

You won't be able to use the flashing piece in that kit, unless the panels are flat not "R" panels.

I have a standard roof with dimensional shingles. Do I need any additional flashing other than the part circled below:

It is a Glascock Charter 31 stove. Made here in NC some years ago but it is in great condition.

I looked at the planning pages and did some more research and ended up ordering the Selkirk Supervent kit from Lowes for store pickup today. It looks to be the same quality as the other one I looked at and I was able to use promo codes. I ordered these items today and will need another 2 or 3 ft section of pipe which I will verify once I measure how far out of the roof these pieces stick out.

JSC6DCSP Ceiling support kit $180 after promo code
2 x JSC6SA3 3ft stainless double wall pipe. $150 after promo code

I picked up the kit earlier and went ahead and started on it. I got the frame built for the chimney support and got it mounted today. Will definitely need another 3 foot section of of the double wall which I will pick up Friday. Also I measured the distance from the top of the stove to the bottom of the adapter underneath the support and am at 63 inches so need to pickup a piece of pipe for that length as well

Cut hole in roof with 2 inches of clearance to the pipe. Set up roof flashing and fastened to roof. Used some neoprene roof sealant to seal everything. Installed pipe and built some support brackets using some conduit I had.

Used some telescoping pipe inside to hook everything up. Put the stove on blocks for the time being to meet the 18in floor clearance and will build a permanent hearth pretty soon. The stove has about 27inches clearance to the wall but I will be adding some sheetmetal protection with an air gap for extra safety

Nice looking install! My only comment would be you might want to spread your chimney support braces. That would give you a little more stability.
Just my $.02.
